Mr. Lloyd Llewellyn Londt is a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant and senior executive with nearly two decades of experience across central banking, financial services, auditing, and investment management. Mr. Londt possesses an exceptional academic record, holding an MBA with Distinction from University of Warwick a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialised Accounting with Distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Degree in Accounting Honours From Rhodes University. He completed the prestigious General Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is currently pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration in Paris, with a focus on emerging technologies in Industry 5.0 including artificial intelligence, automation, augmentation, blockchain, and decentralised finance.
In his current role Mr. Londt serves as Director of Finance and Administration at the Bank of Namibia, where he provides strategic financial leadership and governance oversight, chairs key committees, and plays a central role in shaping the institution’s financial strategy, risk management, and operational excellence. In his role, he oversees enterprise-wide budgeting, auditing, and financial performance, while serving as a key liaison with external auditors and stakeholders.
Prior to this, he was Head of Reporting and Investor Relations at Standard Bank Namibia, where he led all external and regulatory reporting functions and drove innovation through digital finance platforms and advanced data analytics. He also held senior leadership roles at Old Mutual Namibia, managing complex financial portfolios across investment management, insurance, and banking divisions, and previously spent a decade at Deloitte as a Senior Audit Manager, including international experience in London working across multiple global industries.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, he contributes at the board level as a Trustee and Chairperson of the Financial Risk and Audit Committee at the Namibian Standards Institution, reinforcing his commitment to strong governance, accountability, and sustainable institutional growth. His extensive industry exposure spans financial services, energy, mining, manufacturing, and real estate, equipping him with a comprehensive, and strategic perspective on financial governance and value creation.
Vincent Nowaseb is a scientist, science-policy practitioner, and executive leader with over two decades of experience spanning laboratory medicine, biotechnology governance, regulatory framework development, and institutional management. He serves as a Member of the Namibian Standards Council (NSC), where he chairs the Technical and Metrology Advisory Committee
In his professional capacity, he serves as Chief Operations Officer at the Namibia Institute of Pathology Limited (NIP), Namibia’s largest public diagnostic pathology enterprise. In this role, he provides executive leadership over national laboratory operations, quality assurance systems, and institutional strategy across 37 medical laboratories nationwide. His oversight of NIP’s quality management framework, including ongoing compliance with international laboratory accreditation standards, reflects a practical grounding in the application of technical standards in a national service delivery context.
Mr. Nowaseb brings to the NSC substantive experience in the development and implementation of national regulatory and scientific frameworks. He established and commissioned Namibia’s first national regulatory laboratory for the testing of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), a facility operating at the intersection of technical standards, conformity assessment, and biosafety governance. He played a central role in developing Namibia’s Biosafety Framework and its associated regulatory instruments, an undertaking that required the design and institutionalisation of technical standards for the assessment, monitoring, and control of living modified organisms. His career reflects a consistent orientation towards evidence-based governance, technical rigour, and the development of standards and frameworks that safeguard public health, consumer interests, and national economic priorities.
He holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology and Enterprise, achieved with distinction from the University of Manchester. He further holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical Technology (cum laude) from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Pretoria.
Mr. Nowaseb’s contributions to scientific and regulatory governance extend to the international arena. He serves as Namibia’s Member State Negotiator to the World Health Organization’s Intergovernmental Negotiating Body on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response. He previously served as the National Focal Point to the Biosafety Clearing House under the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.
Prior to his current role, he served as General Manager of Innovation and Technology Development at the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST), where he led national programmes in technology transfer, innovation policy, and science-technology governance, including oversight of Namibia’s National GMO Testing, Training and Research Laboratory. His academic career includes serving as Head of the Biomedical Sciences Department and Lecturer at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). He has contributed to peer-reviewed scientific literature in the fields of medical laboratory sciences, molecular diagnostics, and infectious diseases.
Ms. Matildah Kahimbi Jankie is a highly accomplished Namibian legal practitioner, mediator, and senior legal executive with over two decades of extensive experience across litigation, commercial law, conveyancing, governance, and public sector advisory. Ms. Jankie began her professional journey as a Student Researcher with the Law Reform and Development Commission and Office of the Ombudsman, contributing to legislative reform and human rights investigations. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a B Juris from the University of Namibia and is an admitted Legal Practitioner of the High Court and Supreme Court of Namibia, as well as a High Court Accredited Mediator.
She currently serves as Director and Head of the Commercial and Conveyancing Department at Sisa Namandje & Co Inc, a role she has held since 2007, where she leads complex property, commercial, and corporate legal matters while overseeing departmental operations and strategic client engagements. In this capacity, she drafts and negotiates high-value agreements, advises municipalities and corporate clients on compliance, governance, and asset management, and manages conveyancing processes including property transfers, mortgage bonds, and other Real Rights registration.
Her earlier career includes serving as a Senior Litigating Lawyer, handling criminal, civil, and labour matters, and as a Principal Legal Officer in the Office of the Prosecutor General, where she prosecuted cases, directed criminal investigations, and advised law enforcement on legal procedures. She has further strengthened her expertise through specialised training, including a Certificate in Corporate Due Diligence from the University of Cape Town.
Beyond her executive legal career, Ms. Jankie is a respected governance leader, currently serving as Deputy Chairperson of the Namibia Standards Council and having held numerous prominent board and committee roles, including Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Society for Family Health, Chairperson of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee, and board member of institutions such as the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority, Namibian Ports Authority, and Namibia Institute of Pathology. Her multidisciplinary expertise, leadership experience, and commitment to legal excellence position her as a key contributor to Namibia’s legal, regulatory, and governance landscape.
Monica Nehemia is a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of expertise spanning information technology, telecommunications, and network infrastructure across the public and private sectors. In her current role as Chief Technical and Information Officer, she drives the company’s technology strategy as a core business enabler. She specializes in identifying emerging communication technologies and managing extensive network operations to deliver value to customers, executives, and shareholders.
Prior to her current position, Monica held several critical leadership roles within the Government of Namibia. This includes serving as Director of Technical Support and Network Services at the Office of the Prime Minister and Deputy Director of Information Technology at the Ministry of Mines and Energy. She also built a strong technical foundation during an extensive career at Telecom Namibia, culminating as Manager of IT Customised Solutions. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in modernizing national IT frameworks and ensuring the resilience of critical government online services.
A dedicated scholar-practitioner, Monica holds a Master of Informatics (specializing in IT Governance and Qualitative Research), alongside an Honours Degree, a B-Tech, and a National Diploma in related fields from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). To broaden her executive expertise, she earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Telecommunications Policy from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Namibia (UNAM). She graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a Ph.D. in Informatics.
Monica is a recognized expert in IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, and Cyber Security. Beyond her corporate and government leadership, she actively contributes to academic research, having published multiple peer-reviewed papers focusing on information systems, data management, and software development.
Paul serves as an Economic Policy and Trade Strategy Consultant, with over two decades of experience in international trade policy, regional economic integration, and industrial development across Africa. His role entails providing strategic advisory and technical expertise to governments, regional bodies, and development partners in the formulation and implementation of trade and economic policies aligned to national and regional priorities.
He is an Economist by profession and holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrialisation, International Trade and Economic Policy from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. In addition, he possesses a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, as well as a Bachelor of Economics (B.Econ) degree from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa.
Paul is currently serving as an independent trade adviser and consultant and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Trade Law Centre (tralac). He has previously held several senior roles, including Senior Trade Policy Adviser and Regional Economic Integration Adviser at the SADC Secretariat in Botswana, as well as Principal Economist at the Bank of Namibia. His career also includes diplomatic and government roles such as Trade Representative for Namibia to Malaysia (Acting High Commissioner) and Commercial Counsellor at the Namibia High Commission in London.
He possesses extensive knowledge, experience, and skills in trade policy, regional integration, and economic development, having contributed to key national and regional strategies, including the development of Namibia’s National Trade Policy and AfCFTA Implementation Strategies. His professional experience spans over 20 years, with a strong focus on policy research, capacity building, and supporting Africa’s integration into the global economy.
Thaddeus Shigwedha serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Geneva, Switzerland, with over 15 years of experience in governance, investment oversight, and institutional transformation across Africa and Europe. His role entails overseeing financial governance and evaluation frameworks for large-scale funding programmes, including a USD 291 million Emergency Fund implemented across more than 40 countries, while providing strategic advisory support on policy, performance, and accountability systems.
He is an Investment Manager and Strategy Consultant by profession and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Public Policy and Taxation from the University of San Francisco, USA. In addition, he possesses a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Strategy from Midlands State University, Zimbabwe among undergraduate degrees in law, Commerce and Social Science.
Thaddeus has held several senior roles, including Deputy Director at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Namibia, where he managed a USD 106 million PEPFAR health investment portfolio, as well as Programs and Grants Manager at the Global Fund Programme Management Unit within Namibia’s Ministry of Health and Social Services. He has also led consulting assignments across Africa and Europe, delivering advisory services in strategy, evaluation, investment due diligence, and institutional transformation.
He is an Associate member with the Chartered Financial Analyst institute (CFA) currently busy with his level 2, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and has served on several prominent boards, including the Namibia Standards Institution (NSI), Preferred Management Services, Bidvest Namibia (OVANHU), and AVBOB Namibia. He possesses extensive experience in governance, investment advisory, and development finance, with a strong focus on ESG integration, risk management, and sustainable institutional performance.
Dr. Eino Mvula is a seasoned executive leader and multidisciplinary professional with over two decades of experience in strategic leadership, corporate governance, regulatory systems, science and innovation, and public sector management. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Namibian Standards Institution (NSI), where he provides strategic direction to advance Namibia’s standardisation, quality assurance, and regulatory frameworks in alignment with national development priorities.
Dr. Mvula holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry obtained through the Max Planck Institute for Radiation Chemistry in collaboration with the University of Namibia. He further holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Tertiary Education Management from the University of Melbourne, among other qualifications in law, business administration, and innovation management. His academic background reflects a strong combination of scientific expertise, business acumen, and policy understanding.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mvula has held several senior leadership positions across key national institutions. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Business Unit: Central at Namibia Water Corporation (NamWater), Chief Operations Officer at the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF), and Chief Executive Officer of the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST). His earlier roles include General Manager: Regulatory and Consumer Protection at NSI, as well as senior academic and research leadership positions at the University of Namibia.
Dr. Mvula brings extensive expertise in strategy development and execution, stakeholder engagement, performance management, and regulatory and policy implementation. His work has consistently focused on strengthening institutional performance, advancing national systems of innovation, and aligning organisational strategies with Namibia’s Vision 2030 and broader development frameworks.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Dr. Mvula has served on various national boards and advisory bodies, contributing to governance, research, and policy development. He has also been appointed to national commissions and councils by presidential mandate, reflecting his credibility and influence within Namibia’s policy and development landscape.
A recipient of several academic and professional accolades, including recognition as Namibia’s Best Upcoming Young Scientist, Dr. Mvula remains committed to excellence, innovation, capacity building, and sustainable institutional transformation.
